The Milk Race 2014

The Milk Race 2014.

I was in Nottingham last week photographing the official launch event for the Milk Race 2014.

2012 Olympic gold medalist Ed Clancy and World and European Champion Katie Archibald were joined by past Milk Race winner Malcolm Elliott for a spinning masterclass in Nottingham’s Old Market Square.

Passing members of the public (and Robin Hood!) were put through their paces before enjoying what else but a refreshing pint of milk.

The race, which was held in 2013 for the first time in 20 years, originally ran between 1958 and 1993. This year’s event is on Sunday 25th May and will feature elite races as well as a public ride along the same route.
