Should have gone to Specsavers……Conference!

The end of a busy March…job of the month has to be the Specsavers two day (and one night) annual conference at the ICC & Symphony Hall in Birmingham.

A huge event with thousands of delegates taking over the whole of the ICC/ Symphony Hall complex. Keynote speakers, break out sessions and a trade show all to be photographed.

Highlights included guest speaker Sarina Wiegman head coach of the England women’s football team taking part in a Q &A on the main stage. I had taken a picture of Sarina before the session holding a signed England shirt which had to be very quickly transferred over to the conference technical team in order to appear on the backdrop during the session, I was mighty relieved when my image popped up on the big screen right on cue!

The two day conference was topped off with a celebration party featuring singer Alexandra Burke and a DJ set from Denise van Outen.
