Business & Corporate Portraits on Location.

Perfect Portraits.

I have been working as a freelance photographer for nearly five years now, during this time I have regularly been commissioned to shoot corporate/ business portraits on location.

This usually involves a head and shoulders, three quarters and full length picture of the subject against a clean white background. (Or sometimes the company corporate colours). These shoots often take place in boardrooms or spare offices and even on one occasion in a store room.

My approach to this seemingly straightforward job has changed many times over the years as I have strived to get the perfect balance of studio quality with the available space and time.

Without being too boring and techie I am now using Lastolite HiLite backgrounds which enable me to create a perfect ‘studio’ white background, on location, with minimum equipment, while taking up as little space as possible. With this new bit of kit  I feel I have got the balance just right.

I have two sizes of background,  a smaller one for head and shoulders and a larger one for  full length portraits and even small groups.

It only takes about twenty minutes to set up and then we are away, clean, quick consistent studio portrait photography on location.

I have recently completed a couple of days work that involved a whole company being photographed individually and in small groups in the boardroom of their office and my new set up worked like a dream, I was happy and most importantly the client was very happy.
