‘Mobile Homme’ – Bromsgrove Festival 2014.

Last weekend I covered the grand finale of the Bromsgrove Arts Festival ‘Mobile Homme’ featuring French street theatre company Transe Express.

The entertainment started with an energetic street parade through the centre of the town, before taking to the skies for an impressive daredevil aerial performance with drummers and trapeze artists suspended from a huge crane swinging above the heads of the large crowd gathered below.

The event very nearly didn’t happen as heavy rain, thunder and lightning rumbled away up until just an hour before the event was due to start. However the organisers and performers held their nerve, the skies cleared and the crowds came out to enjoy the spectacular show.
