Business Portraits

The 19th Hole Studio.

Last week I undertook a commission from a company who needed some portraits taken for their new website.

The designers were very specific in what they needed, modern clean pictures, the subjects (despite being men in suits) looking relaxed and approachable with a wide variety of expressions from serious to highly amused. All seemingly quite straightforward apart from one thing, the subjects were based all over the country and only getting together in one place for one afternoon…to play golf!

With my professional studio lights and portable studio I can achieve high quality results on location, with minimum disruption pretty much anywhere…even the 19th hole (the members bar) at the Drayton Park Golf Club.

Fortunately we passed the club dress rules, although a few eyebrows were raised at the high key background and soft box beside the snooker table. The shoot went perfectly with the client more than happy with the results…high quality, studio style portraits ,on location on a rainy afternoon in a Staffordshire golf club bar.
