Birmingham Royal Ballet Fundraising Gala

Recent work by Birmingham based freelance photographer Simon Hadley.

A small selection of pictures taken at the recent Birmingham Royal Ballet fundraising gala for ‘The Maiden of Venice’.

Guests enjoyed an exclusive preview of Carlos Acosta’s brand new reimagining of the 19th century classic ballet ‘La Bayedere’, as well as live music and performances from BRB dancers.

The spectacular event, which took place at The Grand Hotel Birmingham, was hosted by journalist and TV presenter Natasha Kaplinsky and raised over £47,000 on the night.

The new production will be on stages cross the UK from Spring 2027 starting at Birmingham Hippodrome.
