Royal Photography at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre

I was dressed up in my best suit and tie on Friday night as official photographer for the Royal Shakespeare Company when His Majesty the King visited the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon to watch the RSC’s production of The Tempest.

King Charles suprised and delighted audience members with he took his seat in the stalls between The RSC’s co-artistic directors Daniel Evans and Tamara Harvey.

During the interval the King met with members of the RSC in-house costume department, after the show he went back stage to meet the cast and creative team including Sir Kenneth Branagh who is playing Prospero and director Sir Richard Eyre.

A relaxed King Charles clearly enjoyed every moment of his visit.
